I opened my agency in March 2024 and currently lead a team of three. Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I worked with Liberty Mutual. My experience in the insurance industry, combined with a passion for building strong customer relationships, ultimately led me to agency ownership.

I’m married with four children and have five pets, so family is a huge part of my life. I enjoy spending time with my family and building meaningful relationships with the people around me.  I stay very involved in the local community by sponsoring schools, neighborhood block parties, and other events throughout the year.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Thomas Cannon - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
